Michael Platt
Michael Platt, the newest partner at The KickBox Club, is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for the fitness industry. Following a career that included ownership of a Professional Wrestling organization and a marketing company that focused on Colleges and Trade Schools, Michael founded Professional Fitness Institute. Personal Training schools with campuses located throughout the country.
Refusing retirement, Michael became the owner of Ultima Fitness Performance in WPB. After selling Ultima and leaving Florida to be nearer family. Michael and his wife Tamie just couldn’t stay away, moving back to the Palm Beaches and joining the ownership team in April 2023.
Two Truths and a Lie
- I was commissioner and owner of a Pro-Wrestling organization where I was once handcuffed to the ring post, had my shirt ripped off, and was whipped with belts by two pro wrestlers.
- When I was on an Antarctic cruise, I ran into the ocean to help save a drowning passenger in -20 weather, and my clothing froze solid. Had to be sent by Zodiac to the ship to be defrosted.
- When I was in my 24 years old, I was a Wisconsin delegate for the Republican Party at the 1984 GOP Convention, where I got into a shoving match with a security person for George HW Bush, and was arrested and kept in jail over-night.
